Hello Stef,

My name is Michael and I'm a fellow Wordpress.com blogger.

A week or so ago, while doing some random searching across the web, I came across a blog on Blogger.com - I also discovered that the author had "re-posted" one of my fiancee's poems without permission and was trying to pass it off as his own writing.

After doing some additional checking, I discovered that almost all of the written content on that site had been "cut and pasted" verbatim from Wordpress bloggers. Your post: "The sun always shines on TV" was one of them.

I don't know if you gave permission for that person to "re-post" your writing, but in the event that you did not, I wanted to make you aware of the situation.

You can see the "re-post" at: http://nothing-but-thanks.blogspot.com/2009/01/sun-always-shines-on-tv.html

I have been providing folks with two Google email addresses (Google owns Blogger) where they can file a complaint about this person. The email addresses are:

    contact-admin@google.com

    dns-admin@google.com

Also, if you visit this person's site, you can click on one of the "Ads by Google" link, where you can file a complaint against this person with AdSense (there is no reason that this person should be generating revenue off of your writings).

In addition, Wordpress has a "fill-in" form you can use to let them know that someone else has stolen your content. The link to that form is:

    http://stolen.wordpress.com/tips/

If you do file a complaint, be sure to include the direct URL to your post as well as the URL to the location is has been reposted.

Best Regards,

- michael -

I agree, but sometimes, I do wonder "what if" or realize that I'm a different person now than I was then. I know there are some people who never change, never grow. It's their loss.

Thanks for stopping by and come visit again soon. I'll be sure to stop by your blog when I get a chance.

Yunno sumtimes it's best to leave past people, places and things as such...in the past. It will prob b for the best. Speaking from experience, I have come to lean more toward this train of thought: nothing good can come from something that no good came from in the past (esp when it comes to past relationships). Pretty neat blog. Stop by mine when u get some time: todaystatus.wordpress.com

When that commercial came out, there was great debate among the Shakespeare geeks over whether it was a good thing (for all the people that raced to google it wondering where the cool speech came from), or a bad thing, corrupting the great Shakespeare to shill video games. Personally, I took the side of "good thing" :).

Here's the wikipedia page on St. Crispin:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Crispin

But personally I find it irrelevant to the speech, it's just a placeholder for Henry to build up their place in history by saying "Whenever anyone speaks of St. Crispin's Day they'll speak of us."

P.S. Sorry, but you're not the first to think of the videogame idea :) Here's a few links on the subject:

I read your most update post (the one just after this) and decided to try another. I'm quite enjoying what I'm reading so far. Thanks for your thoughts. I think I'll try to come back and read some more in the future...
